NABARD Eligibility Criteria 2024

To apply for the NABARD Assistant Manager (Grade A) post, you must meet the terms on education and age.

Education:

  • General: Bachelor’s Degree (60% marks) or Postgraduate degree.
  • Computer/IT: Bachelor’s Degree in relevant field (60% marks).
  • Finance: BBA/BMS (50% marks) or Two years full-time PG Diploma in Management or Full-time MBA (50% marks).
  • Company Secretary: Bachelor’s degree with Company Secretary membership.
  • Civil Engineering: Bachelor’s Degree in Civil Engineering (60% marks).
  • Electrical Engineering: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering (60% marks).
  • Geo Informatics: BE/B.Tech/BSc degree in Geoinformatics (60% marks).
  • Forestry: Bachelor’s degree in Forestry (60% marks).
  • Food Processing: Bachelor’s degree in Food Processing/Food Technology (60% marks).
  • Statistics: Bachelor’s Degree in Statistics (60% marks).
  • Mass Communication/Media: Bachelor’s degree in relevant field (60% marks).

Age: Must be between 21 and 30 years. Age relaxation of 3 years for OBC and 5 years for SC/ST.

Apply for NABARD Assistant Manager 2024

Here’s how to apply for the NABARD Grade A post:

  1. Go to the main site at www.nabard.org.
  2. Go to the careers page.
  3. Fill in the required details like name and educational qualifications.
  4. Upload the needed files.
  5. Pay the fee (if asked) and send in your form.

NABARD Grade A Selection Process 2024

The selection process for the Assistant Manager (Grade A) post has three steps: Prelims, Mains, and Interview.

Prelims: It will have 200 questions, all of which are objective in nature. Each question is worth one mark, but there is a cut of 0.25 marks for each wrong answer. The parts of this test include Thought Test, English, Computer Skills, Math, Choice Making, General News, Eco & Soc. Issues (Rural India), and Agri & Rural Growth (Rural India). The test will be in English and Hindi.

Mains: There are two types of papers: Generalist and Specialist. For Generalist, Paper I is descriptive with three questions worth 100 marks. Paper II has 30 objective questions worth 50 marks and six descriptive questions worth 50 marks. For Specialist, Paper I is descriptive with three questions worth 100 marks, while Paper II has 30 objective questions worth 50 marks and six descriptive questions worth 50 marks. Answers can be typed in English or Hindi.

Interview: This step is in-person and worth 50 marks. The interview can be done in either English or Hindi.
