South Eastern Railway Eligibility Criteria 2024
Candidates must meet specific eligibility for South Eastern Railway:
- Education:
- Level-2/Level-3: 12th pass or equivalent from a recognized board. For Technician-III under sports quota, minimum qualification is 10th pass with a three-year training period, reduced to six months if ITI qualification in the relevant trade is held.
- Level-1: 10th pass or ITI pass or equivalent.
- Age Limit:
- Minimum age: 18 years
- Maximum age: 25 years (as of 01 January 2025)
- Candidates should not be born earlier than 02 January 2000 or later than 01 January 2007.
How to Apply for South Eastern Railway Recruitment 2024?
To apply for the SER Sports Quota vacancies, follow these steps:
- Go to the South Eastern Railway’s official website at rrcser.co.in.
- Download the form from the official website.
- Use a blue or black ballpoint pen to fill in all the required details in your handwriting. Fill the form in English or Hindi only.
- Attach one recent passport-size photograph (4cm x 5cm) to the form.
- Sign the form in full and running hand (not in block or disjointed letters).
- Include self-attested photocopies of all relevant documents like educational qualifications, sports achievements, and caste certificates (if applicable).
- Send the filled-in application form along with all enclosures by post to: The Chairman, Railway Recruitment Cell, New Administrative Building, 6th Floor, Garden Reach, Kolkata-700043. Or drop it directly in the Drop Box provided at the office premises. Write on the top of the envelope: “Application against Sports Quota (Open Advertisement) recruitment for the year 2024-25 – LEVEL-1 or LEVEL-2/3”.
