Indian Army Vacancy Details
Out of the 381 vacancies, 350 are for male candidates and 29 are for female candidates. Widows of Indian Armed Forces Defense Personnel can also apply. Selected candidates will begin pre-commissioning training in April 2025 at the training academy.

Army SSC Tech Eligibility Criteria 2024
- Education: Candidates should have an engineering degree or be in the final year of engineering. For SSC Women (Non-Technical), eligibility is graduation in any discipline. This is for widows of defense personnel.
- Age Limit: The age limit is 20 to 27 years. For some candidates, it is up to 35 years. Please refer to the official notice for more details on each post.

Selection Process
Candidates will be selected through multiple stages of examination. Firstly, candidates will be shortlisted based on their applications. After that, an interview will be conducted. Detailed information about the interview can be found on the website, and candidates can book their interview slots.
The interview process will last for five days and include two stages. Only those who pass the first stage will move to the second stage. This includes psychological activities, group activities, individual interviews, etc. Those who pass all stages will undergo a medical test. Final selection will be based on passing all these stages.
Salary for SSC Tech
Salary varies according to the post. For a Lieutenant, the salary ranges from INR 56,100 to INR 1,77,500 per month. For a Captain, it is INR 61,300 to INR 1,93,900 per month. Salaries for other posts range from INR 1,50,000 to INR 2,25,000 per month. Some posts have a fixed salary of INR 2,50,000 per month.
