NIA Eligibility Criteria 2024
You must meet these eligibility requirements to apply for the posts:
- Education:
- Must be a current officer in the Central or State Gov or Union Territories.
- For Inspectors: Same post or 5 years of work in a role with pay scale Rs. 9300-34800 with Grade Pay Rs. 4200/-.
- For Sub Inspectors: Same post or 6 years of work in a role with pay scale Rs. 5200-20200 with Grade Pay Rs. 2800/-.
- Must hold a bachelor’s degree and have at least two years of work in criminal investigations, intelligence work, IT cases, or anti-terror training.
- Age Limit: Must be under 56 years old as of the last date to send forms. The deputation period, including any previous deputation, should not exceed three years.

The choice will be based on if you meet the rules and have all the right papers. The form must have a filled bio-data, checked APAR file, watch clearance paper, truth paper, and a list of any fines from the last 10 years. Forms that are not full or late will not be looked at.
