NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee Eligibility

To be eligible for the NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee posts, candidates must meet the following criteria:

1. Education:
   • Operator: HSC (10+2) or ISC in Science stream with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics with at least 50% marks. English at SSC level.
   • Maintainer: SSC (10th) with at least 50% marks in Science and Mathematics, plus a 2-year ITI certificate in a relevant trade. English at SSC level.
2. Age Limit:
   • Minimum: 18 years
   • Maximum: 24 years

Selection Process

The selection process for NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee includes several stages:

1. Preliminary Test: A 1-hour exam with 50 multiple-choice questions on Mathematics, Science, and General Awareness. Minimum passing marks are 40% for General candidates and 30% for reserved categories.
2. Advanced Test: A 2-hour exam with 50 multiple-choice questions related to the specific trade. Candidates need at least 30% in General and 20% in reserved categories to qualify.

For Operator posts, no skill test is needed. Qualified candidates will be called for a Physical Standard Test and Document Verification. For Maintainer posts, a Skill Test will be conducted. The final selection will be based on the Stage-2 exam scores.

Salary for NPCIL Stipendiary Trainee

For the Operator post:

• 1st Year: ₹20,000 per month
• 2nd Year: ₹22,000 per month
• Book Allowance: ₹3,000 (one-time grant)

For the Maintainer post:

• After successful training, appointment as Technician/B (Group-C) in Level 3 of the Revised Pay Structure with a pay of ₹21,700. Additional increments based on performance.
