Immediately, after coming into existence, the HPRB, first of all started to make efforts to carry out the selection of candidates for the posts of constables efficiently in a more transparent manner by checking the chances of irregularities and cases of impersonation during the Physical Efficiency Tests. Therefore, the Board implemented the Transparent Recruitment Process (TRP) in the selection process. First of all the applications from the eligible candidates of Advt. No. 2/2013 issued on 08.11.2014 for 8619 posts( 8275 Male Constables & 334 Female Constables) were invited “online” and the payment of application fee was made through E-Challan by the candidates. The admit cards for PET and Interview were up-loaded on HPRB websites www.hprbonline.com or www.hprbonline.in which were downloaded by the concerned candidates. Intimation regarding tests were also sent through SMS.
A master database of the candidates who applied was created for Physical Measurement Tests & Physical Efficiency Tests. Radio Frequency Identifying Device (RFID) monitored race timings, CCTV back up for every candidates, photographs and bio-metrics for individual candidates including on-site digitising of data of other events from scanable seats were prepared digitally by the HPRB.

It is a matter of pride that the HPRB has become the first recruitment agency not only in Haryana Police but also in State of Haryana to implement the TRP in selection of candidates and has successfully been able to earn the confidence of candidates in particular and of public in general in selection on merit by the HPRB.
