DVC JE Eligibility Criteria 2024
To apply for the DVC vacancies, candidates must meet the educational and age criteria.
Education:
Junior Engineer (JE):
- Mechanical: Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
- Electrical: Diploma in Electrical/Electrical & Electronics Engineering
- C&I: Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications/Instrumentation Engineering
- Civil: Diploma in Civil Engineering
- Communication: Diploma in Electronics & Telecommunications/Telecommunication/Electronics & Communication Engineering
- Mine Surveyor: Matriculation with Surveyor’s certificate of competency issued by DGMS OR Diploma in Mining/Mining Surveying/Mining & Mine Surveying with Surveyors’ certificate of competency issued by DGMS
Executive Trainee (ET): Full-time bachelor’s degree in Agricultural Engineering
Age Limit:
- 18 to 28 years for JE roles
- 18 to 30 years for Mine Surveyor
- Max 29 years for Executive Trainee

DVC Selection Process
The selection process includes a Computer Based Test (CBT) and document verification. The CBT has two parts:
- Part-I: Gen Apt Test (GAT) on words, math skill, and logic.
- Part-II: Tech Skill Test (TKT) for each field.
Candidates must score at least 50% in each part to qualify. The last pick is based on health checkup and conduct rules.
