- Central Government staff who have a similar role on a regular basis or staff in the 7th CPC pay level 7 with three years of regular work, or level 6 with five-six years of regular work.
- Experience in State Government/UT Government/Public Sector Unit.

- Passing SAS/Equivalent Exam of Central/State Government Accounts Group, or
- Passing Cash and Accounts course by ISTM, or
- At least five years of work in account tasks.
